Custom Agents put you in the driver’s seat—build your own specialized AI assistants to automate repetitive work, handle specific use cases, or collaborate within your workspace. This feature lets you define, edit, organize, and delete agents tailored exactly to your needs.

What Can You Do With Custom Agents?

  • Create new AI agents in seconds—give them a name, purpose, tags, and optional attachments to clarify their job.
  • Organize agents by category for fast access, whether you have just a few or dozens.
  • Edit agents anytime to update their skills, scope, or documentation as your processes change.
  • Delete agents you no longer need, instantly removing clutter from your workspace.
  • Search and filter by agent name, purpose, or tags so you never lose track of what you’ve built.

How It Works

  1. Sidebar Management:
The agents sidebar is split into two sections:
    • User Agents: Your custom, user-created agents
    • Default Agents: Built-in agents provided by the platform
  2. Create Agent:
    • Click “Create New Agent”
    • Fill in the agent’s name, purpose, tags, and any relevant attachments
    • Save to add the agent to your workspace—available instantly
  3. Edit Agent:
    • Click the edit icon on any custom agent card
    • Update its name, description, or tags as your needs evolve
    • Changes are saved and applied immediately
  4. Delete Agent:
    • Click the delete icon for any user-created agent
    • Confirm to permanently remove the agent from your workspace
  5. Group by Category:
Both default and user agents are automatically grouped by their category (such as Research, Automation, Communication, etc.) for easy navigation.
  6. Search & Filter:
Use the sidebar’s search bar to find agents by name, keywords in their purpose, or any of their tags
  7. View Details:
Each agent card displays name, a short description (purpose), up to three tags, and a count of attachments if present
  8. Attachments & Tags:
Attach documents or files directly to agents for reference
Add tags to help organize, filter, and surface agents in search

When to Use Custom Agents

  • When you want a specialized AI assistant for a unique workflow, routine, or project
  • If your team has tasks that don’t fit neatly into the built-in agent categories
  • When you need to iterate on an agent’s skills, scope, or documentation over time
  • To keep your workspace clean by removing outdated or unused agents

Best Practices

  • Give each agent a clear, descriptive name and purpose—this helps collaborators understand its role instantly
  • Use tags liberally to group agents by department, project, or workflow type
  • Attach any standard operating procedures, reference docs, or prompt examples as needed
  • Clean up unused agents regularly to keep your sidebar organized

Example Use Cases

  • Lead Qualifier Agent: Handles inbound lead qualification for your sales process
  • Onboarding Bot: Steps new users or employees through onboarding flows
  • Weekly Report Generator: Automates the creation and emailing of a weekly status report
  • Knowledge Collector: Pulls in relevant files and docs from connected apps, tagged by topic

Power Tips

  • You can have as many custom agents as you want—scale your automations as your needs grow
  • The sidebar makes it easy to toggle visibility by category, so you never lose sight of your key agents
  • Changes to agents are reflected in real-time across your team’s workspace

Custom Agents make your AI workspace truly yours—define, organize, and scale your assistants with zero code required.
