What You Can Do

  • Play any supported video
    Paste a YouTube, Vimeo, or direct video file URL (mp4, webm, ogg). The player will auto-detect the type and embed it for you.
  • Autoplay and controls
    Videos play automatically if enabled. Standard controls (play/pause, mute, fullscreen) are always available.
  • Fullscreen viewing
    Pop the player into fullscreen mode for distraction-free watching.
  • Smart error handling
    If you enter an unsupported or invalid link, you’ll get a clear error and tips on what works.

How to Use

  1. Open the Video Player module.
  2. Ask the AI bot to play a video
    • Example: “Play the latest demo from YouTube” or “Show me the company intro video.”
  3. Paste a link manually (if allowed in your setup).
  4. Control playback
    • Use the on-screen controls to play, pause, mute/unmute, or go fullscreen.
  5. Close the player when you’re done.

Tips & Behavior

  • If you close the player or load a new video, the current one stops immediately.
  • If you see “Invalid or unsupported video URL,” check your link. Supported: YouTube, Vimeo, MP4, WebM, OGG.
  • The player is designed to handle video playback triggered by the AI or by user request—no fancy playlists, just straight to the point.

Automation

The Video Player can be triggered by automation or an AI agent using the MEDIA_PLAYBACK_TOOL:
  • Parameters:
    • videoUrl (string): The URL of the video to play.
If triggered, the player will immediately load and play the specified video.
